AMF-Bruns has been a leader in the development and manufacturing of wheelchair securement systems since the introduction of the first 4 point system for wheelchairs and occupants in the 1970’s. At that time we invented a wheelchair retractor system that is self-locking and self-tensioning to secure the wheelchair. It wasn’t until 20 years later that others followed the AMF-Bruns idea.

The Protektor system provides critical stabilization for passengers in the event of a collision. Designed for proper wheelchair securement. The pelvic and shoulder belts ensure that the passenger is always secure. New enhancements, like the Smartfitting, are compatible with our original system.
